Lost In Translation
I watched this movie yesterday. It was a bitter sweet experience.
Cinematically it makes me very happy because it’s clearly an excellent and beautiful film.
Thematically and story-wise it made me sad because I can relate to it and it made me realise:
I’m lost.
Do you ever feel
bethraa:
like you’re not achieving enough in your life?
I need to go more places and do more stuff.
Amen to that.
I pray for you.
– That might be the sweetest thing my Nan has ever said to me.
Annoyed
I’ve just finished a new song and i want to post it so that people can hear it (because until someone does hear it, its just a pointless wad of noise) but tumblr wont let me upload because ive used my ‘daily allowance’
grrr
Looks like I’ll have to wait about 18 hours before i can try and force someone to listen to it…
Meet me in Montauk.

Here, a gift for you:
“Honey, there’s a spider in your bathroom the size of a Buick.”
If you walk away, I'll walk away...
I’m slowly starting to feel like myself again. Whoever or whatever that was.
I still don’t trust my own mind though, I have a thought and I’m not certain if it’s just an idea or an answer.
Maybe it’s all a cruel joke?
Now, back to staring at the page/guitar/camera without a clue about what to create… Maybe sometime in the next 10 years a good idea will strike...
take your life,
give it a shake,
gather up,
all your loose change,

21 years young...
I’ve just realised that i have always felt older than i actually am. This may well have hindered my enjoyment of the moment. No longer!
Reference Missed.
My sisters friend was just telling a 'scary story' about someones car breaking down.
Me: They didn't drive to Silent Hill did they? 'Cos that would explain it...
Sisters Friend: No, I think they were going to Scunthorpe.
Oh Dear.

All wrapped up warm and pulling a face.
I’m going explore the city and maybe going back to Primark to replace some £2 shoes.
Which city is it that you plan to explore?
Leeds. I started to feel a bit sick though so I came back. I’ll do it later on I think. It’s prettier at night anyways.

Hollywood
When a relationship ends people have a tendency to forget the brilliance of the whole affair. People moan that: “hollywood has raised my expectations too much”. This isn’t true. We get the fantastic moments that hollywood promises, its just that the credits don’t roll directly after, life goes on. So we forget.
Don’t forget.
Questions and Theories and Worries and Wants
You can spend five years making plans with someone. You know the names of your future children. You can recite the wedding vows that you have played out over and over again in your head. There’s a list somewhere in your brain of all the pretty houses you have driven past and thought: “we could live there one day.” Her body starts to feel like an extension of your own. The thought...
Fahrenheit 451
I finished my editing at 6 am this morning, slept until 11 am and i now have a free day that I didn’t expect to have :D
I watched a fantastic film last night: Fahrenheit 451.
The cinematography and plotting were so strange - simple but quirky enough to be charming. I recommend it to anyone interested in books or cinema.
Reality
I love working with video, moving images.
Doing it as a job, however, can be a little bit soul destroying. Making films about boring things that you have no interest in just so that you can make some money sort of defies the point of choosing that career path.
Well, no more!
As soon as I’m done with this gig, if i don’t dig - no gig.
Wooooooosh
The wind is the sound of people in other countries waking up and forgetting what they dreamt about.
Take That comes on the radio...
Me: Here we go, a bit of dub-step
My Sister: No its not! it's Take That...
